Another successful Emerging Artists Blueboxt concert took place at the Old School House last night when we were treated to a plethora of young talent in the shape of 'Bob, Jess and guests'. Bob and Jess were accompanied by Niamh, a very young (16) singer songwriter. She and Jess harmonised so well together - it was music to our ears! The group entertained us with a selection of innovative cover versions of popular songs and with some of their very own creations - including one surprise dedication to Bob's Mum. Lots of their friends and family came along to give support, as well as a good selection of our very own Arts Centre groupies, and the auditorium was packed. The group engaged really well with the audience, were masters of wit and repartee and it was a great pleasure to spend the evening in the company of these confident young artists. How lucky we are to have all this talent in our Dales. We hope to welcome them back again next year.
