Our LICENSED CAFE / BAR opens for business 30 minutes before the start time of evening events.

As well as the one-off events below there is a wide variety of regular gatherings by like-minded people, see our GROUPS & CLUBS page for more information.

Leyburn & District U3A - Monthly Meeting

At the regular monthly meeting on Friday 19th September we listened to a most fascinating talk by ex Tiller Girl, Pam Harcourt, entitled ‘I did it for Kicks’. Her career obviously kept her young in looks and heart. It was interesting to hear about the origins of the Tiller Girls, their training and experiences. Pam was very entertaining and also gave some beauty tips which she had learned over the years during her career.
